Public Works & Utilities: Water Distribution

Have you ever turned on your faucet and water came out? Have you ever flushed your toilet and it went down? If you answered yes to either of these questions and you see a member of the water and sewer department, tell them thanks.  Most people don’t realize what it takes to keep the water and sewer flowing to and from their homes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If it’s freezing cold, extremely hot, during a storm or just some time in the middle of the night, our customers need these utilities working safely and efficiently.

The water and sewer distribution employees strive for as near perfection as possible.  Each time you or your family runs a glass of water, you trust that these employees are bringing the best water possible to you, and these guys don’t take that responsibility lightly.
